Uniform Information

Dunmore Primary School has school uniform policy and parents are asked to support this.  It is important that items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name and that coats have tabs for hanging on pegs.  Thank you for your support with this.

 

School Trends are our online supplier of logoed jumpers and cardigans which you can order here -  https://www.schooltrends.co.uk/uniform/.   There are no minimum order quantities and your uniform will be delivered directly to your chosen address for only £2.99.  Other ordering information including sizes, delivery information and the returns procedure is also available online. 

 

We are no longer selling logoed PE t-shirts and ask you to buy a plain one in the appropriate House Group colour for your child:

Other Dunmore School logoed items, ie Water bottles, PE and book bags are still stocked in school and can be ordered via Scopay (www.scopay.com ) the order will then be delivered to your child in school.  If you haven't registered with Scopay, please contact us so we can provide you with the information you will need to do this.

The only branded items of uniform are jumpers and cardigans.Unbranded red jumpers and cardigans are perfectly acceptable as part of the uniform, which can be purchased from other retailers. 

Uniform

  • Grey trousers, shorts, pinafores, skirts, divided skirts or red/striped gingham dresses in warmer weather
  • White shirt/blouse or white polo shirt
  • Red jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt (available to order online)  
  • Grey or red tights
  • Grey or white socks
  • Black flat shoes or sandals. High heels and open toe sandals are not acceptable as these pose a significant safety risk in the playground and limit children’s play activities

 

 PE Kit

  • Black shorts
  • House Group colour plain t-shirt 
  • Trainers or plimsolls (NOT NEEDED UNTIL THE SUMMER TERM FOR RECEPTION CHILDREN)
  • Plain black or grey Jogging bottoms/leggings or similar for KS2 children

 

 Jewellery

  • Jewellery is not allowed in school for safety reasons. Ear studs may be worn but should be removed for PE
  • Watches are permitted

 

 Hair Wear

  • We request that hair bands, tie backs, scrunchies etc. are in the school colours to match the uniform

 

 Your child will also need to bring the following to school:

  • drawstring bag for PE and games kit. You may purchase these from the school or provide your own
  • named bottle for water with the ability to be re-filled during the school day
  • school book bag

 

The following items are stocked in school which you can through your Scopay account. We will then send them home with your child. If you do not have a Scopay account, you can buy them directly from the School Office but, please note, we can only accept cash payments.

Adaptations

We respect and approve of appropriate adaptations to this uniform for religious reasons.

Second hand uniform

The school has a stock of second hand uniform kindly donated by parents/carers. The school holds regular second hand sales when uniform can be purchased for a small donation. If you would like to view the second hand uniform, then please contact the school office.
