DUNMORE NURSERY CLASS

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our nursery class!

Dunmore Nursery is part of the Early Years provision at Dunmore Primary School, based in Northcourt Road, Abingdon.  There is also easy access via Farm Road, South Avenue, Holland Road and Sellwood Road in the morning and afternoon through a back entrance to our site.  We are within easy walking/driving distance from the new developments in North Abingdon.

• We offer extra paid hours for those parents who are not entitled to the 30-hour provision (subject to availability)

We are really proud of our very popular and wonderful nursery class setting. We have lots of open space, activities, outdoor areas and equipment.  We have very dedicated and experienced nursery staff who  provide excellent Early Years Education for the children.  We also strive to ensure that they, and their parents/carers, feel part of the whole experience of being part of an Early Years & Primary School setting.

We have arranged visits for prospective parents on Friday 21st March and Thursday 1^st May, both at 9am. If you are not available on either of those dates, we can arrange an alternative one to suit you.  Please do contact us to arrange a visit by contacting us either by email - Tina Law,  or telephone - 01235 520550.

Admissions into our nursery class are dealt with directly by us, so please contact us if you are interested in a place for your child.  However, if places are over subscribed, we will adopt the Oxfordshire County Council's Nursery Admissions Policy which can be viewed below.

Universal Early Education Funding entitlement starts at the beginning of the term after the child’s 3rd birthday, providing at least 15 hours free nursery provision. We also offer up to an additional 15 hours for parents entitled to the extended 30 hours provision (please see the Nursery Provision attachment below for more information).

PLEASE NOTE that attendance in a school nursery does not automatically entitle your child to a place in a Reception year class at Dunmore Primary School, you still have to apply for this through the Oxfordshire Council - School Applications - Oxfordshire
