During this time, it can be difficult to explain to children what is going on. We have found this resource, 'Coronavirus - Book for Children' illustrated by Axel Scheffler, which we you hope you will find helpful at explaining why schools are closed and it is best to stay at home.

We would like to say thank you for supporting us at this time by keeping your child at home. At Dunmore, we are here to provide child care to the children of key workers.
Ideas for activities and websites are on the year group pages. Also, please check parentmail for teachers who are available to support you with ideas for learning at home. However, please do not feel the need to be pressured into home schooling your child during this period. Just give them the best care you can to stay safe and well until we are able to safely reopen.

Due to the current situation regarding the coronavirus, we have decided it would be sensible to postpone parents’ meetings for this week.
If you would like to speak to a teacher this week, then please email kelly.franks@dunmore.oxon.sch.uk for a telephone appointment. Teachers will be available to make calls between 4pm – 6pm tomorrow (Tuesday) 17th March and Thursday 19th March between 3.30pm – 5.30pm.
In your email, please specify which day you would prefer the phone call, otherwise, we hope to rearrange parents’ meetings appointments for after Easter.
Thank you for your support.
