Dunmore Do-ers

THANK YOU!!!!!  Do-ers, for helping to revamp our Reception playground resources this year.  smiley

And thank you for the resources Friends of Dunmore...

The Dunmore Do-ers

Are a group of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, ex-staff members, child minders, and other school community members who come into school once every month or for special projects to help maintain our schools' welcoming feel.

With tasks like helping out with gardening, painting, fixing, creating, building, clearing, cleaning and generally being cheery and optimistic, we've got a full calendar of activities to help out our school community throughout the year.

It's early days for us, we had our first session on Wednesday the 3rd May and then again in June and July and a big Saturday event on the 30th September.

We have lots more jobs and activities in the pipe line for 2023/4.

If you would like to get involved please email or call the school office and leave your contact information for Mr Kendell who will be in touch with information about what you'll need to bring with you.

We provide our volunteers with a cup of tea and refreshments to keep them going.... there are a few picture from our first sessions below to give you an idea of what we did and celebrate this way that you can get involved in our school community.

September '23. We started off with this...

We added these...

And here's how out Class 1 and 2 Outdoor Learning Environment looks now.... in September '23

June and July 23 - Making our school grounds look great and inspiring.

Here are the results. Our school council asked for plants and pots to brighten things up. They then planted them up and the volunteers helped finish off the job! Our school councillors will maintain the plants by watering and deadheading.

What a brilliant community team effort, Dunmore!

Thank you to all the volunteers, school councillors and donators for this one.
