Welcome to Year 6!

Introducing our Year 6 Staff for 2023/24:

Class 13 is taught by Ms Wordsworth.

Class 14 is taught by Mrs Gledhill (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and Mrs Ross (Thursday, Friday).

Our wonderful teaching assistants are Mrs Stanley, Mrs Mowatt, Miss Patrick and Mrs Wiley.

Children have specialist Music lessons with Mrs Scaber.

General Year 6 reminders:

• PE is on Tuesdays and Fridays - please remember kit and trainers.
• Read daily, practise tables, learn spellings and complete an online Maths task on Education City each week (read our full homework guide on our Year Page).
• Bring Planner to school every morning and take home every evening (read our full guide to Year 6 Planners on our Year Page).
• Bring a named water bottle to school every day.
• Keep to the uniform rules and name items, especially jumpers!
• Remember a warm waterproof coat, hat and gloves for cold and wet days.
• Apply suncream at home and bring a sunhat for hot summer days.
• Get in touch with us if you have any questions or need help solving a problem.
• Work with us to learn, show kindness and make the final year at Dunmore special.
