    Welcome to Year 6!
    About Us

    Our class 13 teacher is Mrs Jackson and our class 14 teachers are Mrs Gledhill (Monday to Wednesday) and Mrs Ross (Thursday and Friday).

    We also have wonderful support staff working with us across the week:

    General Year 6 Reminders:
    • PE is on Wednesdays and Fridays - please remember kit and trainers.
    • Read daily, work on the Y6 100 Book Challenge, practise tables on Times Tables Rockstars and learn spellings each week. Revision guides will build into our homework later in the year.
    • Bring Planner to school every morning and take home every evening (read our full guide to Year 6 Planners on our Year Page).
    • Bring a named water bottle to school every day.
    • Keep to the uniform rules and name items, especially jumpers!
    • Remember a warm waterproof coat, hat and gloves for cold and wet days.
    • Apply suncream at home and bring a sunhat for hot summer days.
    • Get in touch with us if you have any questions or need help solving a problem.
    • Work with us to learn, show kindness and make the final year at Dunmore special.
