About Us
Our Mexico Class teachers are: Mr West (Monday to Wednesday mornings) and Dr Strange (Mon-Wed afternoons, Thurs-Fri mornings).
Our Canada Class teacher is: Miss Clark (Monday to Friday).
We also have fabulous teaching assistants, who work with us across the week:
- Miss Gledhill (Monday and Tuesday morning)
- Mrs Greenaway (Wednesday to Friday mornings)
- Mrs Howard (Thursday and Friday afternoons
- Mrs Launchbury (Monday to Wednesday afternoons)
During teacher PPA time on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, children will be taught by Mrs Slater.
Homework

Spellings lists for the term are given out at the start of the term and tested weekly.

We expect children to go on to TTRS (Times Table Rock Stars) for at least 15 minutes a week. Homework will be set on Fridays on TTRS and should be completed by the following Friday.

Reading records are checked every Friday by the teacher. We expect your child to have 3 entries in their reading records, with at least one of these to be signed by an adult.

If you want to do some extra maths at home, the White Rose Power Maths Practice Books (Year 4A, B and C - one for each long term) follow our curriculum. They are available through online stores including here.
General Reminders
- Mexico Class go swimming on Mondays in Term 1-2, Canada Class go swimming in Terms 3-4.
- Mexico Class have their second PE lesson on Wednesday, Canada Class have PE on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Water bottles - please ensure your child has a named water bottle in school every day.
- Please name label all uniforms and PE kit.
