Reception - Year 6             

8.45am - 3.15pm

Children are permitted to arrive at school from 8.35am onwards.  No responsibility can be taken for children before this time, so we ask they are not on the school site prior to 8.35am as there are no adults to supervise them.  All children should be on the school premises by 8.45am, when they should come into school and organise themselves ready for the start of the day. Pupils line up in the playground at 8.45am and are brought in by the class teachers.  

Nursery 

9.00am to 3.00pm

The nursery is open from 9.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday, offering three and six-hour sessions. On arrival, parents/carers and children should wait outside the nursery gates, which will be opened by staff.

Arriving Late

Pupils who arrive late after 8.45am should be registered in the school office and are registered as late. Registers close at 9.15 am. Pupils arriving late after the registers have closed will receive an absence mark, unless it is for a medical or authorised absence reason.

Specific Timings

School Gates open: 8.30am (children supervised from 8.35am).

Morning Registration: 8.45am (official start of the compulsory school day).

Lunch: 12pm–1pm. 

Afternoon Registration: 1pm and 1.15pm.

End of the School Day: 3.15pm (official end of the compulsory school day).

(Total compulsory hours per week is 32.5).

Breakfast Club: Between 7.45am and 8.45am, depending on the session booked.

After-School Club: Between 3.15pm and 5.45pm, depending on the session booked.
