Unlike admissions into school which are dealt with by Oxfordshire County Council's Admissions Team, admissions into our nursery are dealt with directly by us.
Universal Early Education Funding entitlement starts at the beginning of the term after the child’s 3rd birthday, providing at least 15 hours free nursery provision. We also offer up to an additional 15 hours for parents entitled to the extended 30 hours provision (please see below for more information). PLEASE NOTE that attendance in a school nursery does not automatically entitle your child to a place in a Reception year class at the school, you still have to apply for this through the Oxfordshire Council - - https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/residents/schools/starting-school/infant-and-primary-school.
Our largest intake of new children into our nursery is in September (at the start of a new academic year). We are also scheduled to offer placements for the following January and April each year but this is subject to availability of sessions. Please see our 'Nursery Admissions Statement' below for more information.
As our intake into nursery so far this academic year has been high, we do not have the capacity for a further intake in April 2020. Our next intake will be September 2020. Please see our 'Nursery Admissions Statement' below for information on key dates.
For more information, or if you have any questions about our nursery please contact us on 01235 520550 or email - tina Law email@example.com.
Dunmore Nursery, is an Oxfordshire Council maintained nursery, and is part of the early years provision at Dunmore Primary School based in Northcourt Road, Abingdon. We do sometimes get confused with Dunmore Pre-School, based in Farm Road, Abingdon. Dunmore Pre-School is a charity based pre-school and is quite separate from our nursery.
